We are facing an uphill battle regarding FY26 Federal Funding
As you may or may not be aware, we are facing an uphill battle regarding FY26 Federal Funding.
New York State Area Agencies on Aging were established under the Older Americans Act of 1965 to respond to the needs of American age 60 and over. By providing home and community-based services, the Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) make it possible for older adults to live with independence and dignity in their homes and communities for as long as possible.
The Association on Aging in New York has worked to make advocacy SUPER easy for all of you, your contractors, your clients, your neighbors, your relatives, and pretty much everyone you know to have their voices be heard regarding the importance of programs that support older individuals and families.
All you have to do is click the Association’s link, take two minutes and find your representative, and sign on to our letter. (In Madison County our NYS 22nd District Representative is John Mannion)
