Screenings for Memory Concerns Now Available at Offices for the Aging in Central New York!


Are you 60 years of age and older with questions about your memory?

Changes in memory are most often a normal part of aging but can be worrisome. 


If you have questions about you or your loved ones' memory, several County Offices for the Aging in Central New York are now offering screenings for memory concerns.  If needed, individuals are connected to healthcare professionals for a full evaluation and appropriate treatment.

This FRIDAY, February 10th, from 1pm to 2pm we have an IN-PERSON event with the Alzheimer's Association. Come learn effective communication strategies when caring for a loved one with dementia. Give our office a call to learn more and register 315-697-5700

Join us to learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.

The goal of NY Connects is forming partnerships to create a sustainable, person driven long term support system in which people with disabilities and chronic conditions have choices, control and access to a full array of quality services that assure optimal outcomes, such as independence, health and quality of life.
